Why Noah Kahan is using Face Value Exchange, and how it works
Noah Kahan is heading out on The Great Divide Tour
Noah Kahan is back with new music and a massive stadium tour. The Grammy-nominated artist will embark on The Great Divide Tour in early June 2026, and if you’re not signed up for the Artist Presale yet, you’ve still got time — signup closes Thursday, February 5 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
To help make sure that tickets get into the hands of fans, Noah Kahan and Ticketmaster are ensuring several protections will be in place during and after the ticket sale.
First, in partnership with The Great Divide Tour, we’ve put extra protections in place when signing up for the Artist Presale. As a result, you may be asked to complete a short security check with a quick selfie, or in rare cases be asked to upload your ID using Persona, a trusted third-party identity verification service.
To help fans get tickets at the original price, Kahan is also using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. This means that tickets can only be resold on Ticketmaster at face value. If you live in a state where laws prevent resale restrictions, Ticketmaster will still honor Kahan’s terms by keeping resale prices at face value on its site.
Face Value Exchange gives you the flexibility to sell your tickets if you can’t make it. Tickets can only be resold on Ticketmaster at face value for the price that was paid. Additionally, to ensure Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange works as intended, all tickets are mobile-only and restricted from transfer.

What we saw
Bre Kennedy celebrated the release of her new album, The Alchemist, with a sold-out show at Nashville’s Blue Room on Friday, January 30. Throughout the evening, in addition to plenty of cuts from the 2026 release, the singer-songwriter played a handful of unreleased tracks and welcomed fellow members of the Nashville artist community to the stage, including Michigander and Tenille Townes. Fighting off the bitter cold and ice still encasing the city, it felt like the coziest room in town. –Mary, Senior Writer/Editor
Rascal Flatts returned to the New Jersey stage at Prudential Center on Friday, January 30 for a night of classics including “Life is a Highway,” “Mayberry,” and “My Wish.” While the guys have not been on tour since 2019, you truly would never know — Gary Levox’s voice is still top-notch, and Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus still may be some of the greatest musicians in country music. It was a night full of singing and dancing along to some of our favorite nostalgic hits. –Jordan, Integrated Marketing
In mid-January, Not For Radio stopped by NYC for three nights on their Winter in the Garden Theatre Tour. I was lucky enough to catch one of their shows at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, where a distinct vibe of gothic romance filled the venue and was fully realized the moment they took the stage. With an idyllic stage design and Maria Zardoya’s beautifully unique vocals, the audience was immediately entranced as Act I began. Seated together like a congregation, fans (myself included) sank into the moment, eyes fixed on a band that radiated something heavenly. –Bre, Creative Services

What to listen to
BNYX®, Kid Cudi, Röyksopp - “EVERYWHERE I GO [REMIND ME]”
Just when I thought I’d forgotten the catchy jingle from a certain early-aughts GEICO commercial, there’s a new remix to remind me. On “EVERYWHERE I GO (REMIND ME),” producer BNYX® and rapper Kid Cudi launch the Norwegian duo Röyksopp’s 2001 single “Remind Me” into space with refueled hooks, rocket-powered synths and boosted drums. The single dropped just days after Kid Cudi announced his North American REBEL RAGERS TOUR 2026, kicking off June 27. –Bryan, Content Writer
Joyce Manor - “I Used To Go To This Bar”
Four years after their last album, California pop-punk rockers Joyce Manor are back with record number seven, I Used To Go To This Bar. The Weezer influence (complimentary) is heavy on this one. Coming in under 20 minutes, I Used To Go To This Bar is full of quick and catchy anthems, led by the title track. Fans can catch Joyce Manor playing tracks from the new album on their headlining tour starting in March, ahead of an opening spot on Hot Mulligan’s summer tour in June. –Nick, Senior Content Editor

Impressive implementation of antiresale mechanics. The combination of mobile-only ticketing with face-value restrictions addresses the secondary market arbitrage issue directly. I tried getting tickets to a stadium show last summer and ran into scalpers flipping seats at 3x, so seeing an artist actively block that pathway is refreshing. The identity verification through Presona adds friction but it's friction worth having when it keeps genuine fans in the queue.
