We are so in July now. It’s hot and humid almost everywhere, but it’s also the perfect time to enjoy an outdoor show at an amphitheater or stadium. Is there anything better than chilling out on the lawn with a cold beverage while listening to good music?
In summer touring news, Kesha kicked off The Tits Out Tour to coincide with the release of her sixth studio album . (pronounced Period). Plus, My Chemical Romance hits the road on Friday for the start of The Black Parade tour, while Coldplay continues their Music of the Spheres World Tour—which will cap off its triumphant, four-year run with 10 final shows at Wembley Stadium in late August and early September.

The biggest headline run of Kesha’s career is officially underway. The pop artist, who knew how much fun “Tik Tok” could be before absolutely anyone else, began the Tits Out Tour with a sold-out show at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. With some help from glam-pop icons Scissor Sisters, the tour will continue to beloved venues like LA’s Kia Forum and New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
All four original members of legendary rock band Black Sabbath took the stage one last time for a farewell concert on Saturday, July 5 in their hometown of Birmingham, England. Amid the excitement, Kelly Osbourne (daughter of the band’s iconic vocalist Ozzy), accepted a backstage proposal from Slipknot’s Sid Wilson. Overall an incredible evening for the rock royalty column of your 2025 bingo card.
Sabrina Carpenter brought her singular combination of Old Hollywood charm and modern pop expertise back to London’s BST Hyde Park for two nights, and welcomed iconic British pop rockers Duran Duran to the stage on Sunday, July 6 for a joint performance of the Shrek 2 DVD bonus features classic “Hungry Like the Wolf.” (She’ll be back on this side of the pond in the fall for more of the Short N’ Sweet Tour.)
Lorde unveiled her highly-anticipated fourth studio album Virgin on June 27. Now, it has officially debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. You’ve still got plenty of time to study up before the Ultrasound Tour begins on September 17 in Austin, Texas.

Coldplay: July 7, 8, 11 & 12 - Toronto, ON @ Rogers Stadium
Continuing their electric, rainbow-hued Music of the Spheres World Tour, Coldplay will touch down at the brand new Rogers Stadium on Saturday for four evenings of favorites and deep cuts from throughout their massive discography. They’ll be joined by Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr and vocalist Elyanna (both also appear on Coldplay’s 2024 album Moon Music). Hip-hop/R&B artist Keyshia Cole returns to the NYC area for two dates on her 2025 tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album The Way It Is. The tour will be celebrating the 2005 album that introduced her to the world, and she’s bringing Tink and Wale along as support.

The Nashville-based pop-punk band are currently on the second leg of their Yes, Chef Tour, dubbed the Second Course, and they’re bringing the energy to New York’s Mercury Lounge this week on July 10. Come for frontwoman Coco Kinnon’s undeniably energetic vocals and stay for the hooky, nostalgic choruses the band seems to love. For the currently uninitiated, their 14-track 2025 album My Apologies to the Chef is a perfect starting point.
