How Reserved by Spotify works
Available now for Role Model, Rod Wave tours
Role Model is hitting the road this year, and Spotify is giving his most engaged fans on the platform a chance to get tickets. With Reserved by Spotify, which launched today and is powered by Ticketmaster tech, the “High Hopes 3000” singer’s most dedicated fans will be identified and invited by Spotify to purchase two tickets.
Along with Role Model, fans can look out for the Reserved by Spotify option for artists like Rod Wave and many more in the near future.
Here’s how Reserved by Spotify works:
Check your Spotify account: If you’re eligible, you’ll see your Reserved offer on your Spotify Home screen. Spotify will notify you by email, push notification, and in “Your Updates.”
You can also find your offer across various places in the Spotify app, including:
Search
The artist’s page
Your Live Events Feed
The Now Playing view
Claim your tickets: When your Reserved window opens, tap Buy Now to select up to two tickets for an eligible tour date. You’ll typically have around a day to purchase your tickets, but it’s recommended you buy your tickets as soon as you know your preferred show date so you have the best chance at getting the seats you want.
Complete your purchase on Ticketmaster: When you’re ready to purchase, you’ll be directed to Ticketmaster to complete your two-ticket purchase. If prompted, connect your Spotify account to Ticketmaster to verify your Reserved access, then your tickets will be unlocked. You can connect your Spotify account to Ticketmaster ahead of time for faster checkout.
For some high-demand shows, there may be a queue. But don’t worry—two tickets on the tour will be held for you throughout your entire reserved window.
What happens if I miss my reserved window?
If you don’t claim your tickets during the allotted time, they’ll become available to the next eligible fans.
Who’s eligible for Reserved by Spotify?
Reserved is available to Spotify Premium subscribers who are 18 or older. Window lengths, ticket availability, and eligible dates vary by artist and tour.

What we saw
5 Seconds of Summer took over Madison Square Garden on June 13 for the first of two sold-out nights on their EVERYONE’S A STAR! World Tour. And considering the concert fell on the same night as Game 5 of the NBA Finals, the quartet from Down Under officially declared the evening “Knicks in 5 Seconds of Summer” — leading the arena full of New York fans in simultaneously rocking out to tunes like “NOT OK,” “Telephone Busy” and “No. 1 Obsession” and cheering the Knicks to history-making victory over the Spurs. In addition to thanking players like Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby during their mid-show acceptance speech for crowning themselves “Boyband of the Year,” the band even broadcast the game inside MSG during their rowdy encore. —Glenn, Content Writer
Is there a better place for punk rock than at Warsaw in Brooklyn? Nope. And those two things combined for a great night on June 16 thanks to the Lambrini Girls. Loud, fast, and always furious, the Brighton rockers continue to rail against bro culture, anti-LBTGQ+, extreme right wingers, and capitalism. Lead singer Phoebe Lunny even cleared the floor to place a large poster of Elon Musk in the middle—that was subsequently torn apart—while inciting “the biggest mosh pit the Warsaw has ever seen.” Set highlights included “Help Me I’m Gay,” “God’s Country” “Lads Lads Lads,” and a viciously fun sing-along to “Cuntology 101.” —Kenny, Head of Creative
ROSALÍA’s LUX Tour is nothing short of a work of art. From the moment the Spanish superstar emerged onstage at Madison Square Garden on June 16 as a lifesize ballerina straight out of a Degas painting, she transfixed the audience with an awe-inspiring performance that drew from elements of ballet, opera, symphony, painting, performance art, rumba, flamenco and rave culture for a one-of-a-kind live show that puts her latest album, LUX, on its well-deserved pedestal. Structured in five acts, it’s difficult to pinpoint which of the evening’s moments of transcendence reached the highest of heights: “Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti,” La Rosalía’s interpretation of a traditional aria inspired by the Italian saint Clare of Assisi, an early rendition of “Porcelana” performed en pointe, or her restrained encore of LUX closer “Magnolias.” —Glenn, Content Writer

Wilco: Saturday, June 20 – Forest Hills, NY @ Forest Hills Stadium

Here’s hoping for much better vibes for Jeff Tweedy and Co. this time around in Queens. They’ll be joined on this specific An Evening With Wilco tour by another huge name in indie rock: Yo La Tengo.
Keep an eye on…
…Houndmouth, the Indiana alt-country rock band fronted by primary songwriter Matt Myers. The band, who had a hit with the platinum-selling “Sedona” back in 2015, is currently touring ahead of the release of Lordy on July 10 – their first album in five years. They’ve changed their sound over the years since their 2013 effort From the Hills Below the City, which leaned into the Midwest bluesy roots. The few singles we’ve heard from Lordy, specifically the infectious “Tiger Blood,” really show off Myers’ powerhouse vocals, and also hint we might be getting a louder alt-country rock record from the band. That’s extra exciting, seeing how the album will feature a guest spot from current indie rock it-guy MJ Lenderman. Houndmouth is headlining their own tour currently, while also opening for The Head and the Heart on select dates. See them now before they level up and are playing much bigger rooms on their next tour.
