All things good at All Things Go
Doechii, Lucy Dacus, Clairo and more performed in NYC -- and the festivities continue in Toronto
I’m still on cloud nine after All Things Go (aka All Things Gay) this weekend. The festival simultaneously took place in Maryland and NYC from September 26-28, and heads to Toronto for the first time on October 4 and 5.
ATG has become an important one for the LGBTQ community due to its history of inclusivity, platforming diverse voices, and booking amazing women headliners. It felt like a dream to see so many great artists all in one weekend; pure joy overflowed from the floor at Forest Hills Stadium as fans sang and danced to Doechii, Lucy Dacus, Remi Wolf, The Marias, and Clairo.
If you missed out this weekend, tickets are still available for Toronto, where Kacey Musgraves, Reneé Rapp, Role Model and many more will perform against the stunning backdrop of Lake Ontario.

What we saw
When you love multiple genres, you end up running from metal to country to indie pop all in one week. I caught Lola Young delivering raw, smoky vocals on a boat circling the Statue of Liberty; Sleep Token transforming Barclays Center into an unholy, inescapable paradise; and lastly, HARDY blasting his signature country/rock while sporting Knicks and Rangers jerseys. Three shows, zero regrets, and one very confused Spotify algorithm. –Hayden, Integrated Marketing
MARINA sold out Radio City Music Hall on September 25 (deserved!) in support of her sixth studio album, Princess of Power. Video game-themed production was super fun, and songs like “BUTTERFLY” and “I <3 YOU” came to life on stage nicely. I also lost my mind during “Hermit the Frog” from 2010 debut The Family Jewels, which I personally have never heard her play live (I do not want to admit what number MARINA show this was for me, but let’s just say it’s in the teens). Finally, as Marina reminded the crowd, part of her ticket sales go towards helping LGBTQ centers across the U.S. through The Marina Fund in partnership with PLUS1; New York’s proceeds benefitted the Ali Forney Center. –Gab, Head of Editorial Content
I also attended All Things Go in NYC, and the Doechii set in the pouring rain was definitely a highlight for me. Remi Wolf, Paris Paloma and The Last Dinner Party also killed it. Seriously considering booking a plane ticket to Toronto for this weekend’s edition… –Gab

Keep an eye on…
…Wednesday, the ragtag, Asheville, North Carolina quintet featuring vocalist and guitarist Karly Hartzman and guitarist MJ Lenderman. On their sixth studio album, Bleeds, the band’s “creek rock” sound overflows with squealing shoegaze guitars, alt-country angles and sharp observations from the modern slacker generation of the American South. Following the album’s September 19 release, Wednesday will kick off their world tour in October, with shows in North America and Europe stretching into 2026. –Bryan, Content Writer
What to listen to
Tame Impala - “Dracula”
There’s no better start to your day than some fresh Tame Impala, even if you’re as allergic to the sun as Kevin Parker. On the latest Deadbeat dance-pop single “Dracula,” the frontman — excuse me, “Mr. Charisma”— conjures up a fun, fang-less nighttime affair with some spooky choral effects and a disco beat that strikes somewhere between Thriller and Parker’s work on Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism. With the one-man band’s fifth album arriving on October 17, we might’ve just found our Song of Halloween 2025. – Bryan, Content Writer
Rainbow Kitten Surprise - “Friendly Fire”
Rainbow Kitten Surprise have been teasing us with singles all year, but bones proves it was worth the wait. The 10-track album is raw and emotional in all the right ways, calling back to the indie rock roots that made us fall in love with RKS on 2013’s Seven + Mary — but bigger and bolder. The opener “Friendly Fire” sets the tone immediately from haunting, to gut-wrenching, to somehow cathartic all at once. It balances melancholy with beauty in a way only RKS can — the perfect doorway into the rest of the album. –Hayden, Integrated Marketing
Mariah Carey - “Play This Song” (featuring Anderson .Paak)
If the title wasn’t clear enough: you’re not going to want to miss this one from Mimi. Featuring Anderson. Paak, “Play This Song” cuts from the same smooth, vintage cloth as Silk Sonic, and its retro-R&B sound perfectly sets up the playful pairing and always-peak Mariah Carey vocal performance to be another certified classic. “Play This Song,” from Carey’s just-released sixteenth album Here for It All, might’ve been written for solo listening, but don’t be surprised when everyone knows the words when Mariah hits the stage again this fall. –Bryan
